~Tania Maldonado I have no complaints and the ordering is simple clear and exactly what I look for. I ordered this item from amazon back in October of this year so that I could get a good start on my holiday shopping. Not until recently had I seen this item for the PS3 and I knew that when I bought the item it was going to be as prommised in the pikcture because my experience with this site has always been a good one and all of the items that I order come looking brand new and always very quickly. Thank you Amazon and its sellers.
My Ds3 controller arrived at my house in the time they said it would, i will definitely be purchasing from them again.
the silver is very nice. works just like any other PS3 controllers (of course)
I owned this controller for one month prior to the X and square buttons becoming unusable. Two months later, without any contact from SCEA, I called them to receive a status update.
Thanks Sony. Japan in this instance).
They told me that region-specific systems and peripherals must be returned to regional centers (i.e. Not a lot of good that will do me now considering the warranty has expired.
If you live in the United States and are thinking of purchasing the Japanese version of the Dual Shock 3 controller beware that you have no recourse replacing this item if it breaks within Sony's 90-day warranty period. I called SCEA to have the broken controller replaced and they instructed me to send it to their fulfillment department in San Mateo, CA.
They said they would send me the broken controller back if I desired and I could then send it to Japan.
as long as you know that, you should be good. this one is the same thing. thats about it. i was hoping this would be a more responsive pad than the us one, as was the case with the ps2 dualshocks (japanese one was way better for ps2). youre paying like 14+ bucks more just for the color; the fact that its japanese is really of no consequence whatsoever (made in china like the us one anyway, lol).
